Maloney Announces Scenic Hudson Valley Original Photo Competition

NEWBURGH - Representative Sean Patrick Maloney announced that submissions are now being accepted for the district-wide Scenic Hudson Valley Photography Competition. The winning submissions will be displayed as Representative Maloney's Facebook cover photo. 

"I look forward to seeing the original photographs of our scenic Hudson Valley from folks across the district, who have remarkable talent and creativity," said Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney.

The submission period for photographs will be held from Wednesday, July 17th to Wednesday, July 31st. Constituents should email their original landscape photograph to NY18Art@mail.house.gov, and include their name, hometown, and the location of the photo in the body of the email. On Friday, August 2nd, submissions will be posted to Rep. Maloney's official Facebook page where they will be voted on via the "like" button. Voting will close on Friday, August 16th and then the top photos will be announced. The winning photograph will be published as Representative Maloney's official Facebook cover photo, and may be used on the official Twitter and Website. 

Artists will retain copyright. By submitting a photo, authors are giving the office of Representative Maloney permission to use said photo on the official Facebook, Twitter, and Website.
