Maloney to Host Free Child Safety Workshop at Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum
Newburgh, NY- On Saturday, January 25 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney will be hosting a free Child Safety Workshop at the Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum. Parents and children will learn safety tips from experts including proper installation of car seats, online and fire safety and more about programs like Operation SAFE Child.
“As a father of two young girls, I want to make sure parents across the Hudson Valley have access to the unique law enforcement resources available to keep our kids safe,” said Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney. “We can all learn more about protecting our kids while enjoying a fun filled afternoon at the Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum.”
Any families and children attending the workshop from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM will have access to the Mid-Hudson Children's Museum including interactive exhibits focused on nature, science, literacy, art, music and the local community. Workshop participants include: K-9 Unit, City of Poughkeepsie Police, Orange County Sheriff, NYS Troopers, FEMA, FTC, City of Poughkeepsie Fire Department, FBI, Astor Services and the NYS Sheriff’s Office.
