WASHINGTON – Representative Sean Patrick Maloney (NY-18) released the following statement after a man killed at least eight people in Manhattan by driving his truck onto a bike path. Details remain murky, but local, state, and federal authorities have described the incident as a terrorist attack.
“I’m praying for all the innocent people who were killed, those who were hurt, and the families of everyone involved.
“I want to thank the first responders who acted heroically in helping the injured and for taking down this terrorist. It will take a lot more than this coward to stop New York.”
