Maloney Statement on Syria

Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney issued the following statement on the prospect of the use of military force in Syria:

“Before Congress authorizes military action of any kind, I want to see more details from our commander-in-chief and military leaders and hear the thoughts of my neighbors in the Hudson Valley. The use of chemical weapons is unacceptable and requires a unified response, but we should not engage in another open-ended, costly conflict involving the potential use of ground forces in the Middle East,” said Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney.
