Maloney Statement on Metro-North Derailment

Newburgh, NY -- Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (NY-18) issued the following statement on the Metro-North derailment:

"My family's thoughts and prayers are with the victims and loved ones of all those affected by today's tragic accident, and I want to thank our first responders who arrived immediately to save lives.

"Metro North is an integral part of life to the Hudson Valley, and the MTA and National Transportation Safety Board must take immediate steps to ensure that this accident could never happen again."
