Maloney Statement on Jewish American Heritage Month

Newburgh, NY – Today, Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (NY-18) released the following statement on Jewish American Heritage Month:

“This month, we honor and celebrate the rich heritage, traditions, and contributions of our Jewish neighbors in the Hudson Valley and across America.

“We must not forget that, as a nation, we still have so much work to do. Jewish Americans continue to face antisemitism every day in this county. We must stand with our Jewish brothers and sisters and condemn acts of violence and bigotry, so that each and every one of us can live in a country where we feel safe and valued.

“As we emerge from the pandemic and safely gather with one another once again, let Jewish American Heritage Month be a reminder that we must work toward a bright future for all.”
