Maloney Statement in Celebration of the First Night of Hanukkah

Washington, D.C.  – Representative Sean Patrick Maloney released the following statement today in celebration of the first night of Hanukkah, which begins on the evening of November 27th:

“As Jewish families across the Hudson Valley gather together to celebrate the eight nights of Hanukkah, we remember the triumphant story of the Maccabees and honor the immense resiliency of the Jewish people. During the Jewish Festival of Lights, let us give thanks for the blessings we enjoy, and remain mindful of those who are still suffering. My family and I wish all a Happy Hanukkah.”
