Maloney Announces “Valentines for Our Veterans” Program

Jan 30, 2014
Press Release

Newburgh, NY – Representative Sean Patrick Maloney announced his “Valentines for Our Veterans” program, and encouraged folks in the Hudson Valley to join him by preparing Valentine’s Day cards to send to our veterans. The program will provide schools, families, and others in the Hudson Valley with the opportunity to send Valentine’s Day greetings to the veterans who fought for our freedom. The cards will be delivered to veterans at the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System at Castle Point.

“Our veterans have devoted their lives in service to our country, and the ‘Valentines for Our Veterans’ program is a great opportunity to give thanks and show our support to those who have sacrificed in defense of our freedoms,” said Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney, son of a Navy veteran. “On this Valentine’s Day, I encourage all my neighbors across the Hudson Valley to join me in sending a message to our heroes that their service will never be forgotten.”

Interested schools or participants should contact Rep. Maloney’s office at (845) 561-1259. Valentines may be mailed to or dropped off at his Newburgh District Office by 5:00pm on Thursday, February 13, 2014 or his satellite office locations.
