Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney (NY-18) voted in support for today’s Hurricane Sandy relief package, H.R. 152, which passed the House by a vote of 241-180. This relief package provides assistance to small businesses, individuals and local governments hardest hit by the storm. In addition, this bill invests in long-term rebuilding and critical infrastructure.
“For our communities, families and businesses, the passage of Hurricane Sandy aid is much needed and long overdue,” said Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney. “After already being made to wait 79 days, folks across the Hudson Valley will not have to wait any longer for this essential help.”
